Spot guide
A dated booking and admission basis are required. After booking, recheck the gondola, warnings, and mountain roads separately.
Achi’s best-known stargazing experiences are dated paid programmes, not unrestricted viewpoints. Verify the event date, ticket, gondola, entry rules, and mountain-road conditions in that order.

Nagoya, Iida, or Hirugami Onsen
Plan from Nagoya, Iida, or Hirugami Onsen and check the venue-specific parking or shuttle instructions. Cars cannot drive directly to the upper Heavens Sonohara viewing venue.
Reserved night programme with a drive or local stay
Heavens Sonohara requires an event ticket and gondola; Namiai Park requires a paid session check. Do not assume either venue permits unapproved after-hours entry.
Checks before departure
A dated booking or admission basis is required before these venues can become planning options. After booking, recheck roads, warnings, and gondola operation.
Sky conditions only
Give your eyes about 10 minutes to adapt to the dark after arrival. Keep flashlights and vehicle lights low for other stargazers.
