Spot guide
Compare Zhushan and Ogasawara skies only after confirming the dated 19:00 night transport, booking, and weather operation. The directions endpoint is not a private-car viewing point.
Zhushan and Ogasawara are inside controlled routes in Alishan Forest Recreation Area. A park ticket or general opening notice does not authorize a private car to reach either platform at night.

Chiayi or Alishan Forest Recreation Area
Reach the recreation area first, then use the published 19:00 departure for the 19:00-21:00 round trip. The stargazing line requires booking, depends on weather, and is not sold as one-way access.
Overnight park stay with a reserved night bus
Weather and moon calculations use the actual platform coordinates, while directions stop at the park arrival point. Control posts on Zhushan Forest Road mean a map route is not night-driving permission.
Checks before departure
A booking-bound trip needs a confirmed date, place, and operation before it can become a planning option. Recheck the bus, roads, and CWA warnings after booking.
Sky conditions only
Give your eyes about 10 minutes to adapt to the dark after arrival. Keep flashlights and vehicle lights low for other stargazers.
