Kejimkujik Sky Circle

Checks before departure

Parks Canada names the Sky Circle and summer night programme. The campground road is gated from November until spring and programmes may be weather-cancelled.

Opening window

The July and August programme has scheduled hours; independent surface access still depends on the seasonal road and current park status.

Reservation

Programme participation and ordinary surface access are separate; current event requirements must be checked.

Transport

Arrive at P1 and follow the short pedestrian connection. Do not route through a seasonally closed campground road.

Road and arrival

The internal seasonal gate and Nova Scotia 511 approach status must both be current.

Use red light, follow programme instructions, and do not infer winter vehicle access or camping from the Sky Circle listing.

Before you stargaze

• · Give your eyes about 10 minutes to adapt to the dark after arrival.
• · Keep flashlights and vehicle lights low for other stargazers.
• · Recheck ECCC warnings, representative AQHI or Info-Smog, wildfire smoke, cloud, wind, cold, heat, and the managing authority immediately before departure.
• · Verify the lawful arrival point, current park or site status, booking where required, actual road owner, fuel, services, and return separately from the sky score.
